Vehicles with double
locking
If you set the switch to position C , the
courtesy lamps will stay on for a short
time after you close the doors. They
will go off immediately when you
switch the ignition on.
When you switch the ignition off, the
courtesy lamps will come on. They
will go off automatically after a short
time.
If you leave a door open, the
courtesy lamps will go off
automatically after 30 minutes. To
switch them back on, switch the
ignition on for a short time.

If you set the switch to position B , the
courtesy lamp will come on when you
unlock or open a door or the tailgate.
If you leave a door open, it will go off
automatically after a short time to
prevent the vehicle battery from
discharging. To switch it back on,
switch the ignition on for a short time.
The courtesy lamp will also come on
when you switch the ignition off. It will
go off automatically after a short time
or when you start or restart the
engine.
