snow

If the driving wheels are stuck, try to
rock the vehicle free by driving
forwards and backwards. To do this,
move the selector lever alternately
to
D
and
R
and depress the
accelerator as little as possible. To
increase the effect, move the
selector lever to
R
while the vehicle
is still moving forward and vice versa.
To avoid excessive wear on the
transmission when shifting between
forward and reverse (rocking) keep
the engine speed as low as possible.
In winter, position 2 (4-speed
transmission) or second gear
(5-speed transmission) may be used
for initial drive-off on icy or
snow-covered surfaces.
