12. Cleaning Instructions
A. Correct cleaning
1.
Ensure that the appliance is switched off and disconnected from the power supply.
Use a dry, clean, soft cloth or paper towel to remove grease, oil and other dirt from the
induction heater, the tools and the power cables before you place the device in the case.
2.
For grease, oil and dirt which are more difficult to remove, use generally available,
non-volatile automotive products for interior cleaning.
Let all the components dry completely before you use the induction heater again.
B. Incorrect cleaning
1.
Do not immerse any parts of the device in water or a cleaning solution.
2.
Do not spray the device with water or wash it under running water.
3.
Do not clean any components with volatile organic compounds such as petrol, benzene,
paraffin, Methyl Ethyl Ketone (MEK), fuel oil, brake component cleaner, plastic adhesive
solvents, paint removers, thinners, strippers, etc. These substances pose a fire hazard and
harden or dissolve the polymer materials used in the components of the induction heater.
4.
Do not use torches, space heaters, heat guns, gas ovens or microwaves to dry the com-
ponents of the induction heater.
13. Warranties and/or repairs
We warrant the induction heater and any parts thereof, with the exception of all work coils,
to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date
of initial purchase if operated in accordance with these operating and safety instructions.
This warranty is not transferable. The purchaser must send the product together with proof
of purchase directly to us and cover for the transport costs. This warranty is void if the
induction heater is not used in accordance with this operator's manual. Only we or our
authorized workshops may open the device and carry out repairs, otherwise this warranty
will be void. We provide the above-mentioned warranty only and assume no other conse-
quential costs of any kind.
