3.2.4 Installing the boiler
Before connecting the boiler to
DHW and CH system pipes,
clean the pipes removing any
trace of metal from processing
and welding as well as any oil
and grease which could
damage the boiler or interfere
with its good operation.
NB: Do not use solvents
which could damage the
components.
FONDITAL shall be waived
from all liabilities for injury to
persons and animals or
damage to property resulting
from non-observance of the
above.
To install the boiler:
- fix the template to the wall by
means of four Ø 10 mm screws
and dowels.
IMPORTANT: ceiling and
screws clearance must be 436
mm.
- position connections of gas
supply pipe, cold water supply
pipe, DHW flow, CH flow and
return according to template
marks (lower part);
- hang the boiler onto the
support hooks of metal
template;
- connect boiler and supply
pipes using the pipe kit
supplied;
- connect the boiler to air intake
and flue systems;
- connect the boiler to the
power mains.
