Serial Port Configuration Instructions
The VFC-
2100DE’s default setup is RS-232 mode at 38.4K baud, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, and no parity. The baud rate
and other RS-232 parameters may be changed in the
RS-232 PORT
menu via the front panel.

2100DE’s command format is divided into four sections: the mnemonic, the command delimiter, the
operand, and a carriage return. The mnemonic consists of two to six ASCII characters. The command delimiter is an
