Windows that tilt

Bottom and top :
The same as
for the traditional window, but
make sure to have a good
distance from the window to
make accessing the ladder
easy. 30 cm is ideal.
Bottom and top placement:
Same as above.
Step-out platform:
Mount the
platform appr. 60 cm below the
window. Make sure it’s in a spot
that makes it easy to access
both the platform and the ladder.
If it’s not possible to mount the
ladder on the side of the
window(s), you can place the
ladder below, in the middle.
Double windows:

Handgrip:
We recommend
using a handgrip between
the ladder and windows.
Step-out platform:
If
there’s a big distance
between the windows: see
picture below. Place the
platform 45-65 cm below
where the window opens.
Distance from the step-out
platform to the ladder
should be max. 70 cm.
From balcony - distance
10 cm or 50 cm.
Bottom placement:
Minimum
50 cm from ground level.
Top placement:
The ladder
should be mounted 135 cm
above the balcony railing,
minimum 100 cm. If you want to
mount the ladder close to the
balcony (10 cm), the ladder can
start along the top of the railing
(note: this is only suitable when
the distance is 10 cm.)
