EXTENSION HARNESS

 

When  routing  any  wiring  extension  harness  back  to  the  engine,  make  sure  that  the 
harness does not rub or get pinched. Be sure all extension harness connector collars 
are  secure.  Fasten  harness  to  boat  at  least  every  400  mm  (17  inches)  using 
appropriate fasteners.

 

NOTE: 

It  may  be  necessary  to  use  an  adapter  harness  on  some  models,  where  the 

engine  harness  and  instrumentation  harness  connectors  are  different,.  Refer  to 
appropriate CMD for further service information.
