Setting Transmission Correction
When conducting infrared inspections through infrared-transparent windows
(IR Windows / Sightglasses), not all of the infrared energy emitted from the
objects of interest are efficiently transmitted through the optic material in the
window. If the transmission rate of the window is known, you can adjust the
transmission correction setting in the Imager or in SmartView
®
software.
