- These buttons are used to change a value or option when editing a parameter. When
editing some numeric or alpha-numeric parameters, these buttons are used to move
among digits or characters.
IR Port - The infrared window provides a means for communicating with the thermo-
hygrometer using infrared serial communications (IR COMM mode) or printing
measurements and daily statistics to a IrDA-compatible printer (IRDA mode).
Top Panel
The top panel contains the port for attaching the sensor for Channel 1. An optional
extension cable may be used to allow the sensor to be placed in a remote location (see
Figure 3-2).

Right Side Panel
The right side panel contains the port for attaching the sensor for Channel 2. An optional
extension cable may be used to allow the sensor to be placed in a remote location (see
Figure 3-3).
