Blank screen
The screen appears blank when switched on.
Ensure the power adapter is attached properly and the power is switched on.
This problem can also be caused by improper adjustment of the contrast. After the power
is switched on allow the thermo-hygrometer at least one minute to complete its self-test
and power on sequence. Then, try to adjust the contrast using the
A
D
buttons.
Error message at power up
The thermo-hygrometer reports an error during the power up self-test.
The display will remain inoperable during a power outage to preserve battery life.
Measurements will continue to be recorded as long as the battery has a charge.
On power up the thermo-hygrometer performs a series of self-tests to check the operation
of all its components and each of the sensors. The results of the self-tests are reported on
the screen. Normally, all tests report ‘OK’. Below is a table of error messages and
recommended actions to correct the error. Often these errors can be corrected by
completing the actions listed. A failure of one or more component causes error messages
to be reported.
Contact an Authorized Service Center for assistance.
