Maintenance
Before and after each use, check the product
and accessories (or attachments) for wear and
damage. If required, exchange them for new ones
as described in this instruction manual. Observe
the technical requirements (see “Technical data”).
Regularly carry out the maintenance operations
listed in the following table. The life of the product
is extended by regular maintenance. Furthermore,
you get optimum cutting performance and avoid
accidents.

the rail (see “Cleaning”).

Lubricate the individual chain links with the
aid of an oil suction gun with pinpoint tip.
Place individual oil drops onto the articulated
links and onto the tooth tips of the individual
chain links.
Guide bar inspection

Regularly inspect the guide bar

for wear.

Remove burrs and straighten the guide surface
with a flat file.
o
Clean the oil passages (see “Cleaning”).
Sharpening the Saw Chain
Have your chain sharpened professionally or
sharpen it yourself with a sharpening kit suitable
for the chain recommended for your chainsaw.
Observe the sharpening instructions provided with
the sharpening kit.

Repair
This product does not contain any parts that can be
repaired by the user. Contact an authorised service
centre or a similarly qualified person to have it
checked and repaired.

Storage

Switch the product off and remove the battery

Empty the oil tank and dispose of the oil
according to local regulations, if the product is
not to be used for longer periods.

Store the product and its accessories in a dark,
dry, frost-free, well-ventilated place.

Always store the product in a place that is
inaccessible to children. The ideal storage
temperature is between 10 °C and 30 °C.

We recommend using the original package for
storage or covering the product with a suitable
cloth or enclosure to protect it against dust.
o
Regularly check the charge level of the battery
pack, if it is to be stored for an extended
period. Optimum storage conditions are cool
and dry.
