6.1
Cleaning and storage
Clean the meter with a damp cloth and mild detergent; do not use abrasives or
solvents.
If the meter is not to be used for an extended period, remove the battery and
store it separately.
6.2
Battery replacement
1.
Switch off the meter before attempting to replace the battery.
2.
Turn the half turn screw so that the UNLOCK symbol is facing up and then lift
open the battery compartment.
3.
Replace the standard 9 V battery.
4.
Secure the battery compartment cover.
6.2.1
Disposal of electronic waste
As with most electronic products, this equipment must be disposed of in an envi-
ronmentally friendly way, and in accordance with existing regulations for elec-
tronic waste.
