Using the On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu for C336ZC1 1

To configure an alarm device:
1. Launch the OSD menu. Use the on-screen arrow keys to navigate to ALARM SET-
TING and click Enter .
2. Under ALARM NO , select the alarm out number you wish to configure. For example, if
you want to configure the alarm device connected to the camera’s Alarm_IN1 cable,
select 1 .
3. Under ACTION , select a preset movement for the PTZ camera to perform in the event
of an alarm. Choose from PRESET , AUTO SCAN , TOUR , or NONE .
4. Under PARAMETER , select the ID number of the preset, auto scan or tour you want
the camera to perform in the event of an alarm. For example, if you want the camera to
move to preset location number 2 when the alarm is triggered, set
PARAMETER to 2 .
NOTE
If ACTION is set to NONE , you cannot configure the PARAMETER field. The PTZ camera will contin-
ue to perform normally in the event of an alarm.
5. Under CONTACT , choose the alarm signal mode of your alarm device. If the alarm
contacts are normally open and the alarm should be triggered when the contacts
close, select
N/O . If the alarm contacts are normally closed and the alarm should be
triggered when the contacts open, select N/C . See the instruction manual provided
with your alarm device for details.
6. Under RELAY OUT , choose relay alarm mode and reset time. Set OFF if not using a re-
lay out device, such as a siren, or select 1–5S to have the relay reset every 5 seconds.
7. Under RESET DELAY , set the time before the alarm device resets after being trig-
gered. Choose from the following options:
• 3S
• 10S
• 30S
• 60S
• 120S
8. When finished, select SAVE and click ENTER to save your changes.
