The N‑EUPEX couplings described here are universally applicable, torsion ally flexible,
damping pin couplings and are available in various types and sizes. The couplings can be
used in accordance with the Explosion Protection Directive in potentially explosive atmo-
spheres if they have a corresponding marking.
Types DK and DKS are fail-safe.
The double cardanic type DK is a version with split hubs (411) and (412) and a spacer
(coupling part 60).
The double cardanic type DKS is a shortened version with coupling parts 1 (101) and (102)
and a spacer (coupling part 70).
The two-joint design compensates for any radial misalignment (offset) in the elastomer joints.
These instructions describe the assembly and operation of an N‑EUPEX coupling arranged
horizontally with a shaft-hub connection established using a cylindrical bore with parallel key.
