3. Installation
Please follow the safety instructions contained in this document and any additional assembly instructions during
installation!
Installing and operating the stations incorrectly will invalidate any warranty claims.
The shunt group can be mounted on a wall using two retaining clips and the mounting holes (11 mm diameter) in
the rear thermal insulation. The lower holes in the thermal insulation can be used for laying cables, wires and
electrical connections (e.g. NV Vivax actuator).
Conversion right/left:
The shunt groups are suitable for installation on the right- and left-hand sides.
The thermal insulation must be removed to turn the connections. The thermometers and handles must be
removed. Rotate the ball valves through 180°. Then loosen the screw fitting on the valves and rotate the valves
through 180°.
The NV Vario measuring nipples must always face outwards. For correct installation, the screw fitting can be
loosened (sealing the O-ring) and the handle removed. The NV Vertex valve can be installed independently of the
direction of flow.
Note:
For installations on the left-hand side, the pump provided by the customer must be rotated a little because the NV
Vertex valve can be closed in one direction only and its handle can as a result collide with the pump.
