4 - OPERATION
For effective therapy, after setting the appliance up, sit in a comfortable and
relaxed position and proceed. With LightNeb it is possible to choose between
these two modes of delivery: "
ON DEMAND
" and "
CONTINUOUS USE
".
4.1
Press and release the key (1A), it will light up
blue and the unit will start operating in
"CON-
TINUOUS USE" mode.
4.2
Press and release key (1A) and the device
switches off.
4.3
Pressing and holding the key (1A) in the inspira-
tory phase and releasing the key (1A) in the
expiratory phase uses the
"ON DEMAND" func-
tion.
4.4
Place the
mouthpiece (3)
in the mouth. Alter-
natively, you can use the
Paediatric mask (4)
or the
Adult mask (5).
4.5
To increase the effectiveness of treatment,
breathe slowly and deeply and after inhaling
hold your breath for a moment, so that the in-
haled medicine can deposit along the respira-
tory tract. Then exhale slowly.
4.6
The device turns off automatically:

after 5 minutes of operation in
"CONTIN-
UOUS USE"
mode;
-
4.6b
instantly upon release of the button in
"ON DEMAND"
mode;

4.6c
if there is no liquid in the cup after the blue
LEDs have flashed.

If you are not going to use the device for more
than 5 minutes, recline it on a flat surface as
shown in the figure.
4.8
At the end of each use store the device with its
accessories in a dry place away from dust.
