• The average battery life depends on the brand used.
• It is very important to use batteries of the same brand and same type.
• If not in use for a long period of time, remove the batteries, as they can oxidise
and damage the internal contacts of the device. In addition, store the batter-
ies and the device in accordance with the storage and transport temperatures
mentioned in this manual.
• LightNeb is unsuitable for use in the presence of a flammable anaesthetic
mixture with oxygen or nitrous oxide.
•
The device casing has been designed for limited contact with liquids (no
immersion). Do not wash the device under running water or by immer-
sion. Carefully follow the instructions in the “CLEANING, SANITISING,
DISINFECTING” chapter of this manual. Do not use alcohol to clean the
device.
• Do not use the device while taking a shower or a bath.
• Do not operate the device while driving or in any other situation where you
should not be distracted in order to not endanger yourself, people, animals or
objects around you.
• Do not expose the device and the batteries to extreme temperatures. Keep
the device and batteries away from sources of heat, direct sunlight or exces-
sively hot and humid locations.
• Should your device fail to perform as expected, contact the authorised service
centre for clarifications.
• Repairs are to be carried out by FLAEM authorised personnel only, by comply-
ing with the information provided by the manufacturer. Unauthorised repairs
void the warranty and may be hazardous for the user.

Do not modify the device without the manufacturer’s authorisa-
tion.
• The manufacturer, importer and seller will be held responsible for the safety,
reliability and performance, only if the device is used in accordance with the
instruction manual.

Interactions:
the materials used have been tested according to the standards
of biocompatibility (ISO 10993-5 and ISO 10993-10) in compliance with the
essential requirements of the Medical Device Directive 93/42 EEC. The ma-
terials used in the medical device are biocompatible in accordance with the
provisions of Directive 93/42 EC as amended. However, the possibility of oc-
currence of allergic reactions cannot be entirely ruled out.
• If you use the nebuliser for multiple types of medicine, you must remove
residues completely. Then clean after each inhalation to obtain the highest
degree of hygiene and optimise the life and operation of the device.
• The device does not contain any parts that can be repaired by the user. The
warranty does not cover batteries or damage caused by incorrect, spent bat-
teries or those stored improperly.
• The manufacturer must be contacted about any problems and/or unexpected
events concerning operation and for any clarifications on use, maintenance or
cleaning.
