Troubleshooting
No power LED
● Ensure firm connection of DC plug to the DAC-2000.
● Check that the power supply is plugged in and the mains outlet
is turned on.
No audio output
● Check that the power LED is lit.
● Check that the correct input is selected on the switch on the
side of the unit.
● Confirm that all connection cables are seated correctly.
● Check that the amplifier device is turned up and has the correct
input selected.
● Check that your source device has it’s digital audio output
enabled (some TVs may not have it on as standard - check for
a red light from the cable / socket).
● Check that your source device is set to output LPCM stereo (if
bitstream or Dolby is selected this will not be compatible with
the DAC-2000)
● Confirm that the source device is outputting LPCM at either
44kHz, 48kHz or 96kHz sample rates. Other rates are
unsupported.
Distortion / popping
sound
● Ensure all cables are seated firmly in position.
● Ensure mobile phones are kept away from analogue audio
cables and associated products.
● Check that your source device is set to output LPCM stereo (if
bitstream or Dolby is selected this will not be compatible with
the DAC-2000)
