Chapter 4 | Calibration
Wait for the conductivity value to stabilize.
Once the reading is stable, press the “Enter” key.
Press the “Cal” key to save and end the
calibration. The “Cal” key can be pressed when
either the “SAVEd” or “3rdPt” screens is shown.
The average calibration factor value is shown.
The meter proceeds to the main measure mode.
4.2 TDS Calibration
Ensure the active measure mode is TDS.
Press the “Cal” key to start the calibration.
Rinse the conductivity electrode and place into the
TDS standard.
Wait for the TDS value to stabilize. While the
reading is stabilizing, the stopwatch icon is shown
and the reading flashes. When the reading is
stable, the checkmark icon is shown, and the
reading is solid.
Once the reading is stable, press the
or
key
to edit the value.
Once the desired TDS value is shown, press the
“Enter” key to accept the TDS standard value.
To calibrate with another TDS standard, repeat
steps 3-6, or to save and end the calibration,
press the “Cal” key.
The meter will display the calculated calibration
factor value and then proceed to the main
measure mode.
Note: Press the “Read” key at any time to abort the
calibration and return to the main measure mode.
4.3 Salinity Calibration
Ensure the active measure mode is salinity.
Press the “Cal” key to start the calibration.
Rinse the conductivity electrode and place into the
salinity standard.
Wait for the salinity value to stabilize. While the
reading is stabilizing, the stopwatch icon is shown
and the reading flashes. When the reading is
stable, the checkmark icon is shown, and the
reading is solid.
Once the reading is stable, press the
or
key
to edit the value.
Once the desired salinity value is shown, press the
“Enter” key to accept the salinity standard value
and save and end the calibration.
The meter will display the calculated calibration
factor value and then proceed to the main
measure mode.
