Audible alarm
Accompanying all error messages, a warning signal is
given out which only is silenced upon pressing any key.
As an option, you can also have the end of a run sig-
naled acoustically. To activate or deactivate this option
press the program key
and switch on the centrifuge
simultaneously. As far as you keep this key pressed,
the selection mode is active.
The speed panel shows "beep“ and the time panel
shows "on“ or "off“.
By actuating the upward-key in the time panel the
signal function can be switched on or off
.
When the message "rotor“ flashes, pressing
the start key once is sufficient to turn off the
warning signal and to accelerate the rotor to
the maximum speed displayed by the in-
strument.
Turning the centrifuge off
By switching the main switch into "0“ position the cen-
trifuge is turned off.
The main power switch should be turned off
after a complete centrifugation run. Without
motor deceleration, it takes much more time
until the rotor comes to a halt.
The centrifuge lid can only be opened automatically if
the centrifuge is turned on!
