Note: The front axles are not interchangeable and are marked
A and B. Identify front axle B.
• Fit a washer on the short leg of front axle B.
• Fit a wheel, “hubcap” side up, on the short leg of front axle B.
• Place a cap nut in the cupped end of the cap nut
assembly tool.
• Hold the cap nut against the end of the short leg. Tap the
cap nut assembly tool with a hammer to secure the cap nut
on the end of the short leg of front axle B.

Note: You may need the help of another adult to complete
this assembly step.
• Fit the short spacer onto the end of the axle.
• Fit a wheel, “hubcap” side out, onto the rear axle.
• Place a cap nut into the cupped end of the cap nut
assembly tool.
• Support the opposite end of the rear axle. Hold the cap nut
against the end of the rear axle and tap the cap nut assem-
bly tool with a hammer to secure the cap nut on the end of
the rear axle.
• Fit a washer on the long leg of front axle B.
• Fit a bushing, plate side first, onto the long leg of front
axle B.

• Position the vehicle body upright.
• Lift the front end of the vehicle and insert the long leg of
front axle B up into the hole marked B in the vehicle body.
Make sure the bushing inserts into the hole in the
vehicle body.
• Lower the vehicle body.
