THERMOPTEK

MULTI-SENSOR

TECHNOLOGY

Thermoptek alarms are “toast-proof”

meaning they can be positioned in areas

close to kitchens that may be affected by

cooking fumes  Heat alarms should be

used in kitchens where required

This combines an optical sensing chamber

with thermal enhancement  The alarm is

effective at detecting slow burning fires,

and constant monitoring of temperature

changes enables the sensitivity of the

alarm to be instantly increased thereby

quickening the typical response time to

fast flaming fires significantly

ESCAPE LIGHT

Your smoke alarm is fitted with an ultra
bright LED to illuminate your escape route
and provide a visual reference of your
position within the home  To assist visibility
in an emergency it is recommended that
the alarm is positioned in a stairwell or
hallway for a swift and safe evacuation

The LED will last the lifetime of the alarm
and have no negative effect on the life of
the batteries

POSITIONING

WARNING:

 Your smoke alarm can be

installed into a new build property as

additional protection to an existing smoke
