Disposal
Do not throw the tool in your household waste!! Dis-
pose of machines, accessories and packaging at an
environmentally responsible recycling centre. Ob-
serve the valid national regulations.

tion) Seal on nickel cadmium
(NiCd), nickel metal hydride (NiMH) or lithium-ion
(LiIon) batteries (or battery packs) indicates Festool
is voluntarily participating in an industry program
to collect and recycle these batteries at the end of
their useful life, when taken out of service in the
United States or Canada. In some areas, it is illegal
to place spent batteries in the trash or municipal
solid waste stream and RBRC Program provides an
environmentally conscious alternative.
Please call 1-800-822-8837 for information on bat-
tery recycling and disposal bans/restrictions in
your area, or return your batteries to the Festool
Service Center for recycling. Help protect our envi-
ronment and conserve natural resources!
Transport
The equivalent amount of lithium in the LiIon battery
pack is less than the applicable limit value and certi-
fied as per UN manual ST/SG/ AC.10/11/rev. 3 part III,
subsection 38.3. The LiIon battery pack is therefore
not subject to national and international dangerous
goods regulations, neither as an individual compo-
nent nor as a fitted machine component. However,
dangerous goods regulations may apply when sever-
al battery packs are transported, in which case you
may have to fulfil special conditions. Refer to ADR
special regulation 230 for more information relevant
for the EU.
Warranty
Conditions of 1+2 Warranty
You are entitled to a free extended warranty (1 year +
2 years = 3 years) on new Festool power tool pur-
chased from an authorized retailer. Festool shall be
responsible for all shipping costs during the first year
of the warranty. During the second and third year of
the warranty the customer is responsible for ship-
ping the tool to Festool. Festool will pay for return
shipping to the customer using UPS Ground Service.
All warranty service is valid 3 years from the date of
purchase on your receipt or invoice.
Festool Limited Warranty
This warranty is valid on the pre-condition that the
tool is used and operated in compliance with the Fes-
tool operating instructions. Festool warrants, only to
the original consumer purchaser, that the specified
