The SFE1−LF−... has been designed for monitoring the changes in flow and con
sumption in pipeline systems or terminal equipment in industry. Measurement is
carried out by means of a thermal procedure. The amount of heat, which is drawn
from a heated surface of the sensor by the medium flowing through it, is calcu
lated here. The flow rate or the accumulated consumption of the amount of heat
drawn is calculated and shown on the display. Connection to higher−order systems
is made via 2 digital outputs (Out A/B) and an analogue output Out C). Switching
points can be defined for both digital outputs. For measuring the flow, switching
points are possible for both digital outputs; for the accumulated consumption
measurement a switching pulse for output A (Out A). The combination of accumu
lated consumption measurement (Out A) and flow measurement (Out B) is pos
sible. The flow rate value is passed on via the analogue output.

The product is suitable exclusively for industrial purposes. It is not suitable for
calculting purposes in business, e.g. for calculating consumption in supply
equipment.
