Replacing valves or cover plates

The sub-bases of the MPA-S valve terminal with multi-pin plug connection support actu-

ation of one or two solenoid coils per valve position, dependent on the built-in MPA elec-

tronics module (

Tab. 5.4).

Dismantling

Proceed as follows:

Use a screwdriver with a narrow blade to loosen the mounting screws and remove the component

from the sub-bases (

Fig. 5.1).

Proceed as follows:

1. Check the seal for damage.

2. Replace seals if they are damaged.

3. Make sure that the cord seal between sub-base and component is in the correct position: The cord

seal must sit in the cut-out of the component.
