Dismantling the toothed belt axis

The toothed belt axis EGC-…-TB-KF comprises the following modules:

•

Cylinder barrel with slide with recirculating ball bearings on guide rail, driven via clamping bodies at the toothed belt.

•

Drive cover with toothed belt pulley and drive.

4.2.1

Removing the drive covers

•

Place the toothed belt axis on the work surface as shown with the slide facing
upwards.

•

Lever off the cover caps at both ends from the drive covers.

•

Loosen the socket head screw in the clamping bodies and unscrew it.

•

Move the slide to the left and right to release the clamping bodies from the
slide.

•

Push the two clamping bodies out of the cylinder barrel through the recess
in the drive covers.
