Preparing the test equipment
Depending on the design and size of the toothed belt axis, different extension
sleeves and stop bolts must be attached at different points on the test equip-
ment and different settings must be made.
6.2.1
Attaching the extension sleeves
Note
The distance from the test equipment to the rear of the toothed belt varies
depending on the toothed belt axis. The different distances are compensated
by the extension sleeves to optimise the force stimulus applied by the plunger.
•
Loosen the plunger housing and then unscrew it from the test equipment.
•
Screw the appropriate extension sleeve onto the plunger housing (see table).
