Commissioning – carrying out

Please observe the limits for all loadings.
Setting the speed and the end position
cushioning:
S
Tighten the screws of the upstream one-
way flow control valves (A) and the end
position cushioning (B) on the DNCKE-...:
– at first completely
– then loosen approximately one turn.
S
Pressurize:
– the complete system slowly.
To do this use safety start-up valve type HEL-... .
– the cylinders at first simultaneously on both compressed air connections

(only with DNCKE-...).
This will prevent movement against an unpressurized cylinder chamber.
– the clamping unit at compressed air connection

with at least 3.8 bar.
The piston rod then moves slowly into the extended end position.

Start a test run at low frequency and at low impact speed.
S
Repeat the test run increasing the speed step-by-step until the operating
speed is reached.
If set correctly, the work load should reach the end position without striking
hard against it.
S
During the test run check whether these settings on the clamping unit need to
be modified:
– The speed of the work load
– The end position cushioning
– The clamping force (if the system is designed for this, by pressurizing the
cylinder briefly with maximum pressure (10 bar); the clamping rod must not
break through.
Remedy if the clamping rod breaks through:
Adjust the clamping unit again in accordance with the chapter “Commis-
sioning – preparation”).

Conclude the test run.
