4. Unscrew the adjusting sleeve

turn in an anti-clockwise direction.
5. Pull out the mandrel supplied

(only
with clamping unit type KEC-...).
Please note
If the clamping rod is inserted tilted, both
the wiper and the seals may be damaged.

Push the clamping unit carefully onto
the rod of the plug-on unit.
The clamping unit can be pushed on
without any problems if there is a 15°
chamfer at least 3 mm wide at the end
of the clamping rod (rod quality see
“Technical specifications”).
6. Turn the adjusting sleeve

:
– at first in a clockwise direction until the
clamping rod cannot be moved any
more,
– then in an anti-clockwise direction until
the clamping rod just moves freely
(approx. 20...30°).
7. Tighten the locking screw

again. The
tightening torque is 7 Nm.
8. Exhaust the clamping unit. The clamping
rod will then be clamped.
