Configuration
Caution
The CPV Direct contains electronically sensitive compo
nents. The CPV Direct will be damaged if you touch the
contact surfaces of the plug connectors or if you do not
observe the regulations for handling electrostatically
sensitive components.
In order to carry out the configuration, proceed as follows:
1. Switch off the power supply.
2. Remove the switch module.
3. Set the following with the DIL switches: the baud rate,
the reaction to field bus communication faults (HOLD/
CLEAR), CC link address.
4. Fit the switch module.

Make sure that switch−on test pulses are
suppressed/switched off when you operate the CPV
Direct via a safety I/O module."

Check the measures required for putting your system
into a safe status in the event of an EMERGENCY
STOP.
