AS-interface® fieldbus connection
The AS-interface facilitates the spatial
distribution of individual components
or small component groups.
The AS-interface connection of valve
terminal type 32 can be used to
control up to 8 solenoid coils.
The electrical connection of the valve
terminal contains the LEDs that
indicate the operating status and the
protective circuit for the valves.

CPI fieldbus connection
All CP valve terminals and CP modules
are connected using a ready-to-install
CP cable, and are attached to the CP
interface. Four modules, for example
one CPV valve terminal and one to
three CP input modules, make up an
installation string that ends at the CP
interface. The installation system
supports a maximum of 4 installation
strings that can be connected to a CP
fieldbus node.

CPX fieldbus connection
All functions and features of the elec-
trical peripherals CPX are supported in
connection with the CPX interface. This
means:

The valves and electrical outputs
are supplied via the operating
voltage connection CPX
•
The valves are supplied and
disconnected separately via a
separate valve connection on the
CPX (code V)
