9 COMMISSIONING
Place the machine on a floor that is level, stable and sturdy, after ensuring the proper levels
of cleanliness.
Loss of stability / Overturning
Place the sandblaster on a supporting surface which has the following characteristics:
is clean;
is both strong and resistant, able to withstand the weight, to prevent the machine from
tipping over;
is level (not tilted).
Clean the support surface
Before positioning the sandblaster, clean the surface of dirt and any other objects that may be
present.
The sandblasting cabinet should be placed near an electrical socket.
Possibly away from walls, which could make it difficult for the exchange of air through the
opening located in the upper part of the motor compartment.
Do not put more than 15 kg of abrasives inside the sandblaster drum.
9.1 Connection to the compressed air system
To be able to perform the sandblasting of surfaces it is necessary to
connect the machine to a compressor or to a centralized compressed air
production system, checking that they are able to provide a constant
pressure of approx. 7 bar. The quick coupling for attaching the
compressed air tube is positioned in the lower rear part of the machine
body.
Figure 11 – Attaching the Compressed Air
Features of the Compressed Air
Disconnect the compressed air tube when not using the machine.
The compressed air must be dry, clean and free of oil particles or other contaminants.
9.2 Connection to the power supply
The power cable is supplied already connected to the machine.
The plug must be connected to a suitable power socket (230 V / 50 Hz).
Connection to the power supply
Always ensure the perfect connection of the power plug to the wall socket.
