1. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1.1 Introduction
Dear Customer,
Thank you for choosing
SUN M3 - M6 , a single-stage Ferroli burner featuring advanced design, cutting-
edge technology, high reliability and quality construction.
SUN M3 - M6 is a gas burner, whose compact dimensions and original design make it ideal for use
with most of the boilers currently present on the market. The attention paid to its design and industrial
production has resulted in a product that is well-balanced with very low CO and NOx emissions and a
very silent flame.
1.2 Operating Instructions
Operation of the burner, once installed and correctly set, is fully
automatic and virtually needs no user control. If there is no fuel
or in the event of trouble, the burner stops and shuts down (red
indicator light on the release button on).
Make sure the room where the burner is installed, besides being
free of flammable materials or objects, corrosive gases or volatile
substances, is not dusty. Dust, attracted by the fan, sticks to the
rotor blades and decreases the air flow rate or obstructs the flame
stability disc, decreasing its efficiency.
Do not allow the burner to be tampered with by inexpert persons or children.
1.3 Maintenance
Service the burner periodically, at least once a year. Servicing must be performed by qualified personnel
as described in Chapter 3.
1.4 Anomalies
If the burner fails to start and the red indicator light on the release button is not on, check that electricity
is supplied, the heating system switch is on, the fuses are efficient and the boiler is calling for heat.
If the burner has shut down (red indicator light on the release button on), press the release button to
restore operation. The burner will try and ignite. If it shuts down again, check there is fuel and that the
manual valves on the gas supply line are open. If these checks are not passed, call the service centre.
If any abnormal noise is heard during burner operation, call the service centre.
