MDS-ADS SYSTEM PROGRAMMING
EXAMPLE 4.
Facility with 10 blocks of 45 apartments each, (the blocks do not have ADS panels).
Observations:
- We want all the apartment numbers in every block to start from number 1. As we want to have the blocks
numbered from 1, although they have no ADS panels, we shall consider them as Block 1, Block 2, ... , etc.,
and so consider the call from the General Entrance as 1 0 1, 1 0 2, ... for Block 1. The calls 2 0 1, 2 0 2, ...
for Block 2, and so on successively for all the blocks.
- As the blocks do not each have an ADS panel, we can only program the house terminals (monitors/
telephones) from the General Entrance panel. See "Programming house terminals from GENERAL
ENTRANCE".
- Due to the features of the facility all the blocks are TYPE C --> B B i i / B B f f, (Medium-sized Blocks, 99
apartments per block and up to 99 blocks).
Programming:
1. Follow the steps in "Enter Programming mode".
2. Follow the steps defined in "ADS Decoder Programming (depending on Type)", (there is one decoder per
block).
