anyserviceinitiatedforthepurposeofcustomizingsetupsoradjustmentsbeyond
factoryspecifications.Initialstandardsetupandadjustmentoftheinstrumentandits
componentsatthetimeofpurchaseareconsiderednormalDealerproductpreparation,
andarenotcoveredbythiswarranty.
Limitations and Exclusions |
The following items are not covered by this warranty.
1. Fretwear,saddlewear,nutwear,stringsandbatteries.
2. Setups, adjustments or routine maintenance of any kind.
3.Damagetofinishesorcracks,splitting,orwarpageofwoodduetochangesin
temperatureorhumidity,exposuretoorcontactwithsun,fire,moisture,bodysalts
andacidsofperspiration,guitarstraps,guitarstands/hangersmadefromvinyl,plastic,
rubberorothersyntheticmaterials,anyotherchemicalsornon-Fender-approvedpolishes.
4.Damage,corrosionorrustingofanyhardwarecomponentscausedbyhumidity,salty
air,orexposuretothemoisture,bodysaltsandacidsofperspiration.
5.Anydamagetoaninstrumentresultingfromcustomizationormodification.
6. Normalwearandtearonanypartoftheinstrument,caseorgigbagincludingjacks,
controls, switches, plated surfaces, tuning machines, pickguards, zippers, clasps, handles,
latches, case hardware etc.
7.Allotherdamageanddeteriorationduetonormalusage,wearandtear,aging,
accidents,neglect,abuse,orActsofNature.
8.Anyinstrument,whoseserialnumberismissing,alteredortamperedwithinanyfashion.
9.AnyinstrumentpurchasedfromanyoneotherthananAuthorizedFender
®
Dealer.
10.Instrumentsthathavebeenservicedbyunauthorizedpersons(anypersonother
thanaFenderCertifiedTechnicianatanAuthorizedFenderServiceCenter).
THE FOREGOING CONSTITUTES THE ONLY WARRANTY MADE BY FENDER WITH RESPECT
TO THE PRODUCTS AND IS MADE EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES
EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
Anyimpliedwarranties,includingwithoutlimitation,anyimplied
warrantiesofmerchantabilityorfitnessforanyparticularpurpose,imposedunder
state law are limited to the duration of this limited warranty. Some states do not allow
limitationsonhowlonganimpliedwarrantylasts,sotheabovelimitationsmaynotbe
applicabletoyou.
FMIC ASSUMES NO LIABILITY FOR PROPERTY DAMAGE RESULTING FROM FAILURE OF THIS
PRODUCT NOR ANY LOSS OF INCOME, SATISFACTION, OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE
LOSS OF USE OF SAME DUE TO DEFECTS OR AVAILABILITY OF SAME DURING SERVICE.
NOTE:ThiswarrantyappliesonlytoFenderinstrumentsmanufacturedafterJanuary1,
1998andpurchasedandservicedwithintheU.S.A.andCanada.Warrantiesoutsidethese
countriesareasdefinedbytheauthorizedFenderDistributorforyourcountryorregion,
andmayvaryfromtheaboveintermsand/orlength.
