a. Install the guide rod (19) in the hole on the base.
b. Tighten nut (20).
c. Slacken the handwheel (21) and position the holder (22) at the required distance.
d. Tighten the handwheel (21).

3.10. CUTTING FLUID SYSTEM (Fig. 6)
NOTE
To prepare the cutting fl uid, use special
cutting oils indicated in table.
a. Prepare 14 litres of water-oil emulsion
(concentration ratio: 10%).
b. Pour the contents directly into the tank of
the pump (30).
DANGER - WARNING
NEVER USE THE MACHINE WITHOUT CUTTING FLUID.
4. USE
DANGER - WARNING
THE MACHINE IS FITTED WITH A MAINS SWITCH F (8 - FIG. 1) TO BE ACTIVATED
BEFORE ANY WORK IS PERFORMED. ONCE WORK HAS BEEN COMPLETED,
TURN OFF THE MAINS SWITCH.
DANGER - CAUTION
• Never wear gloves during the machine cutting phase.
• Before commencing a new cut, always remove the cuttings left from the previous
task.
• Keep hands well away from the cutting zone.
DANGER - WARNING
RUNNING IN THE BLADE: PERFORM A CORRECT RUNNING-IN PROCEDURE
AS INDICATED IN THE HEADING “BLADE REPLACEMENT”.
4.1.
ADJUSTING BLADE TENSION (Fig. 3)
Turn the handwheel (2) clockwise until the green indicator light comes on.
DANGER - WARNING
IF THE BAND TENSION IS TOO HIGH THE BELT MAY JUMP OUT OF THE
GUIDES.
