9.
Clean the trapezoidal spindle and nuts with a lint-free cloth. Remove excess
grease.
10.
Apply Shell Gadus S3 V220 C2 evenly to the entire trapezoidal spindle
with a brush.
11.
Move the Z-axis upwards on the drive wheel of the belt.
12.
Put everything back together in reverse order.
13.
Switch machine on.
14.
Move several times over the entire length of the axle to distribute the grease.
In case of heavy soiling
If the trapezoidal spindles are very dirty, they must be cleaned completely.
1.
Switch off the machine at the main switch, disconnect the power supply.
2.
Clean the trapezoidal spindle and nuts with a lint-free cloth. Remove excess
grease.
3.
Clean and degrease trapezoidal spindles with parts cleaner INNOTEC,
ULTRA CLEAN Art.Nr: 121 (04.0155.9999, UCL) (also suitable for plastic
parts).
4.
Spray the entire length of the trapezoidal spindle with INNOTEC, HIGH-TEF
OIL, Art.Nr: 1005 (03.1176.9999, HTO5).
5.
Switch machine on.
6.
Move along the entire axis length.
7.
Leave on for 5 minutes.
8.
Switch off the machine at the main switch, disconnect the power supply.
9.
Apply Shell Gadus S3 V220 C2 evenly to the entire trapezoidal spindle
with a brush.
11.4 Check/replace the drive belt
The drive belts are wear and tear parts and must be checked regularly. The belt
tension must be checked regularly. If the belt tension is too high or too slack, it
could lead to damage on the machine.
