7.4.6 tilting the table
The machine working table can be tilted up to an angle
of 20°.
To tilt, remove the table padding to enable the saw belt
to move through the table unimpeded. Open the clamp-
ing screw with the supplied spanner and tilt the table to
the desired angle, which is displayed on the mitre scale.
Tighten the clamping screw again.
To tilt the table back to its normal position, loosen the
clamping screw once again and tilt the table up to the
stop in the 0° position and clamp it in that position.

7.5 Brake system
The machine is equipped with an electromechanical
brake, which guarantees that all the moveable parts will
come to a stop within 10 seconds, once the machine
has been switched off. The brake shoes of the brake will
wear out and thus need to be controlled regularly and
replaced if necessary to fulfill the required braking time,
as stipulated in the regulations.
7.5.1 Brake system maintenance and adjustment
Prior to changing the brake or setting it anew, ensure that
the drive belt has the correct tension.
7.5.2 Replacing the brake ring
Remove the ventilation cowl and the safety screw and
pull off the fan propeller. The brake ring is located on the
moveable part of the brake. Pull off the old brake ring
and with clean hands, install the new one. Reverse order
for assembly.
