ORIGINAL INSTRUCTION >EN
The following items are furnished with the Drywall Sander.
One vacuum hose: 4m long (includes a standard 38mm vacuum cleaner connector on
end and a special swivel connector on the Sander end)., with a static dissipating
feature to dissipate static electrical charges that are sometimes experienced when
recovering drywall dust.
One 38mm to 47mm adapter (adapts the 38mm hose connector to fit a 47mm
vacuum cleaner).
INSTALL AS FOLLOWS:
1. Install a special drywall dust bag into your vacuum cleaner, following the instructions
supplied with the vacuum cleaner.
CAUTION:
Failure to use a vacuum cleaner rated for drywall dust will increase the level of
airborne dust particles in the work area. Continued and prolonged exposure to high
concentrations of airborne dust may affect the respiratory system function.
2. Install the adapter in the appliance port (it is located under the control box). Then install
the pipe. Then check that it is securely locked to the adapter.
3. Connect the other part of the hose to the vacuum cleaner. Use the adapter provided if
necessary. Then check that the hose is securely locked to the vacuum cleaner. If your
vacuum requires a special connector (sometimes other than the standard 38-47mm
connectors supplied with the drywall sander), contact your supplier to receive a correct
adapter.
4. Install the six Velcro fasteners to prevent the power cable and vacuum hose from
tangling. Install the wire and the vacuum hose parallel to each other. Space the clips
approximately 60 cm apart starting at 60 cm from the sanding head. Wrap the suction
hose with the long end of each clip and close. Then wrap the cable with the small end of
each tie and close.
INSTALL THE EXTENSION TUBE
First, place the nut on the end of the device, without locking it. Fully install the extension
tube into the sander. Lock the tube by screwing the nut.
