Position the assembly in the selected location. To get the light as close to the window as possible, slide the
Viper S2 forward and backward. To further adjust the position of the light, switch the #6 screw between the
front slot and the rear slots.
5.
Once you determine the location, raise and lower the riser bracket until the Viper S2 is in the desired
position.
6.
Tighten the screws on the riser.
7.
Use the marker to mark the locations of the two riser holes on the rear deck.
8.
Remove the assembly.
9.
Remove the Viper S2 from the bracket assembly.
Mounting the Rear Deck Bracket Assemblies
To mount the bracket assembly:
1.
See Figure 3 on page 3. Place the angled edge of the rear-deck bracket assembly against the angled surface
of the rear-deck package tray.
2.
Position the two riser holes over the marks on the rear deck.
3.
Mark the locations of the two holes on the angled surface of the package tray.
4.
Remove the bracket assembly.
DRILLING PRECAUTIONS—When drilling mounting holes, be Careful not to drill
through anything under the rear-deck package tray.

Drill a 0.140
"
hole at each of the four marked locations for the mounting holes.

See Figure 3. Attach the bracket assembly to the rear deck using the #10 thread forming screws.
Mounting the Viper S2 to the Bracket Assembly
To mount the light:
1.
See Figure 2 on page 3. Feed the #6 thread forming screw (supplied with the Viper S2), through the front or
rear slot in the bracket, then through the #6 lock washer (supplied with the Viper S2), into the side hole of
the Viper S2. Leave the assembly loose.
2.
Repeat step 1 on the other side. Tighten the assembly enough so the Viper S2 can be moved back and
forward with little effort, but does not move on its own.
3.
Slide the Viper S2 forward and backward to get it as close to the window as possible. To further adjust the
position of the light, switch the #6 screws between the front slot and the rear slots.
DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN SCREWS/NUTS—To avoid damage to the lightheads, do not
overtighten the screws/nuts.
4.
When the Viper S2 is positioned properly, tighten all fasteners.
