Electrocution or severe personal injury can occur when making electrical connections, drilling holes, or lifting
equipment. Therefore, installation should only be performed by experienced electricians. This product is to be
installed in accordance with national and local electrical codes.
A. GENERAL.
This option allows the Control Unit’s Battery Chargers to operate when only a
208/220/240VAC power source is available. The 208/220/240VAC is stepped down to
120VAC to provide power to the battery chargers.
B. MOUNTING
LOCATION.
Keep wire lengths to a minimum. Mount the transformer as close as possible to the control Unit/Battery Box.

D. WIRING.
NOTE
This product is to be installed in accordance with national and local electrical codes.
To perform the wiring, proceed as follows (see Figure 5-2 and Figure 5-4 for details):
1. Disconnect AC and de-energize transformer before changing taps.
2. Connect X2 of transformer to TB3-2B (neutral).
3. Connect X1 of transformer to TB3-1B (120VAC).
4. Connect AC line across the appropriate taps of the transformer (H1, H2, H3).
5. Cap the unused tap.
