Use position
Assembly and commissioning
• You can place the firewood used on the storage grid in front
of the firebox in preparation. Make sure that you can open
the furnace flap without any problems.
• Now you can push the fuel directly from the grate into the
stove.
• Proceed in the same way when adding fuel and use
heat-resistant wood tongs to be able to reach into the hot
stove chamber without danger.
• Close the furnace flap again immediately after refueling to
ensure optimum heat balance and to prevent sparks from
escaping.
• Place the furnace only in outdoor areas and never indoors.
• Place the furnace on a level, heat-resistant surface that is
not wobbly or covered.
• Be careful not to place the stove in a particularly dry
environment (e.g. on dry leafy ground). Despite low smoke
production and flying sparks, there is a risk of glowing
particles escaping to the outside. Special care should be
taken, for example, when adding firewood.
• Thanks to the well-insulated lifting handles, you can easily
reposition the stove even during operation.
Cleaning and equipment
maintenance
Equipment maintenance may only be performed by adults.
Maintenance by children over 8 years of age, or by impaired
persons, may only be performed under adult supervision.
• DO NOT use harsh chemicals or hard objects for cleaning.
• Inspect the furnace on a shelf-by-rack basis for damage and
contamination.
• Ensure that the fuel used is no longer burning or glowing if
you leave the stove unattended.
• After each furnace operation, do not dispose of the ashes
until the furnace, including charcoal residue, has fully cooled
to avoid a dung bucket fire.
• Dispose of ash only at an appropriate disposal site and not
in your regular household trash can or organic waste.
