If the maximum output power of the transmitter is not indicated in the table, the recommended separating distance d in metres (m) may be
calculated with the help of the equation applicable to the frequency of the transmitter, where p is the maximum output power in watts (W)
according to the emitter manufacturer.
At 80 MHz and 800 MHz, the distance is applied to the highest frequency range.
These indications are not universal. Absorption and reflection by structures, objects and individuals affect electromagnetic propagation.
