Remove the V-belt guard.

Check the condition and tension of the V-belt
(Fig. 56), replace the V-belt if damaged.

Compression measurement approx. 5 - 10 mm.

Slightly loosen two fastening screws (1) (Fig.
57) on both sides of the engine carrier.
l
Push the motor carrier forward and take the V-
belt off.
l
Install the new V-belt.
Tightening the V-belt

Pull the engine carrier back (Fig. 58), until the
correct V-belt tension is achieved and tighten
the fastening screws (1).
l
Assemble the V-belt guard.
Caution
!
Check the V-belt tension again after a running
time of approx. 25 operating hours, retighten if
necessary.
