Close the choke completely by shifting the le-
ver (Fig. 19) in direction of arrow against the
end stop.
Caution
!
Do NOT operate the choke lever when the en-
gine is warm or at high ambient temperatures.
Caution
!
The engine is equipped with low oil level safety
shut-down. The engine cannot be started if the
oil level is too low.

Set the throttle lever (Fig. 20) to 1/3 throttle po-
sition.

Turn the ignition switch (Fig. 21) to position "I"
(ON).

Slightly pull the starter handle (Fig. 22), until
resistance can be felt (compression pressure),
but do not pull out completely.
l
Guide the starter handle back to initial position
by hand.
