Checking the fuel level
!
Danger
Fire hazard!
When working on the fuel system do not use
open fire, do not smoke.
Do not refuel in closed rooms.
Refuel only with the engine stopped.
Do not inhale any fuel fumes.

Clean the area around the fuel filler neck.

Open the fuel filler cap and check the fuel level
visually.

Caution
Contaminated fuel can cause malfunction or
even damage of the engine.

If necessary fill in fuel through a funnel with fil-
ter screen (Fig. 48).
For quality of fuel refer to the table of fuels and
lubricants.

Close the fuel tank again tightly.

Note
If the tank was completely empty the mechanical
oil pressure monitoring device must be activated.

vice"

Check the hydraulic oil level

Check the oil level in the inspection glass (Fig.
49).

Note
At room temperature of approx. 20¯C the hydraulic
oil level should reach approx. the middle of the in-
spection glass.
Minimum level 1/3 of inspection glass.

Caution
If, during the daily inspection of the oil level
the hydraulic oil level is found to have
dropped, check all lines, hoses and compo-
nents for leaks.

Top up hydraulioc oil, if necessary.
For quality of oil refer to the table of fuels and
lubricants.
