Select the WLAN adapter, and enter a WLAN IP address and WLAN subnet mask.
The WLAN IP address should be compatible with the one of the scanner (see
chapter 8.1.1). If you like, you can take the WLAN IP address of the scanner and
simply change the last number. For example, if the scanner has 172.16.15.97, you
can enter 172.16.15.90 here.
The WLAN subnet mask should be the same as the one of the Laser Scanner LS

On some PDA’s, you may have to explicitly switch on the WLAN connection (for
example by clicking on the earth globe as seen in the lower right corner in the
following figure). In addition, some PDA’s may require a reboot after the WLAN
address has been changed. Most often, this reboot is performed by pressing a tiny
button with a pencil.
