process. The computer is ready when the On/Off button stops flashing and shows a constant blue
light.
NOTE:
A few seconds after switching on the power, the fans of the Mobile PC and handset will start.
If this does not happen, it probably means that the battery is not sufficiently charged. In this
case, switch off the power, charge the battery and try again.
NOTICE:
The Mobile PC has three cooling vents, one on top and one on each
side (shown here in red). These vents must be kept
free whenever the Mobile PC is switched on.
Blocked vents can lead to a reduction in
processing power and can damage the processor.
2. You have two options to connect the phone to the system: USB cable or WiFi. Using the USB cable
may result in a more fluent visualization of the data, while using WiFi enables more flexibility.

, disable WiFi on the phone. (The USB connection in the next
step will not work unless WiFi is disabled.
•
If you want to use WiFi
, open the camera app on your phone or a QR code reader and scan the
QR code that is printed on the bottom of the Mobile PC. After scanning the code, a dialog box
will appear aksing if you want to connect to the network. Tap yes and your phone will connect.
You can also connect manually by searching for the WiFi of the Mobile PC and entering the
password manually. (There is also a “fall back” option: if you connect your Mobile PC to a
monitor with an HDMI cable, the QR code will be visible in a window and can also be scanned
by a phone).
3. Start the Freestyle 2 app. If a WiFi connection to the Mobile PC is established, the app will lead you
directly to the screen where capturing can be started.
If you chose to use the USB cable, tap the
Enable USB
button and the app will automatically redirect
you to the right settings page. Choose USB, then return to the app. Note that you must do this step
each time the phone is reconnected.
