ASSEMBLE ROLL-UP SIDE CONDUIT
Gather parts:
• Pipe 1.315'' x 75'' swaged 17 GA (#131S075)
• Pipe 1.315'' x XX'' plain 17 GA (#131P0XX)
• Tek screws (#FA4482B)
Roll-up side conduit assembly attaches to bottom of roll-up
side panel. Assembly runs length of frame and serves as
the center pipe the roll-up panel wraps around when it is
opened for ventilation.
NOTE:
Number of pipes used in roll-up conduit assembly
varies with length of greenhouse.
Roll-up conduit assemblies consist of multiple sections
of swaged 1.315" pipe at 75" (part #131S075) and one
(1) additional plain 1.315" pipe at a shorter length, where
XX represents remaining length required to complete the
assembly.
Some greenhouses use all 75" swaged pipe for the roll-
up conduit. Last pipe is cut to length after installation.
Complete these steps to assemble the roll-up side conduit.
1. Locate all sections of pipe needed to assemble the roll-
up conduit.
2. Insert swaged end of each pipe into plain end of
another pipe until conduit is assembled.
3. Secure each pipe joint with an FA4482B Tek screw.
4. Place assembled conduit at base of side where end of
cover film is located.
NOTE:
Wrap duct tape over Tek screws to prevent
damage to film.
5. Repeat steps to assemble remaining conduit.
6. Continue with the next procedure to attach conduit to
roll-up panel.
INSTALL ROLL-UP PANELS
This model includes a roll-up side panel for each side of the
greenhouse. The panel film material is typically shipped as
a single, 6' roll. Complete the following steps:
1. Locate the roll of side panel for the roll-up sides and
cut a length from the roll that is the
length of the
greenhouse plus two (2) feet.
2. Stretch the roll-up panel out along the side of the
greenhouse and center it from end-to-end.
3. Using the upper channel of the double U-Channel and
the wire spring, secure the top edge of the film in the
channel.
4. With the top edge secured, spread the free end of the
panel out so that it hangs evenly from the secured
edge.
5. Continue with the following roll-up procedures.
