12 MACHINE STORAGE
Long-term machine shutdown :
•
Store the machine under a roof if possible.
•
Store the machine on a flat and solid surface with sufficient load capacity.
•
Clean the machine before storing and conserve so that it is not damaged in any way during storage.
Pay special attention to all marked lubrication points and properly lubricate them according to the
lubrication plan.
•
Store the machine in the position with folded frames in the transport position. Store the machine on
the axle and the storage leg, secure the machine against spontaneous movement using scotches or
another suitable tool.
•
When storing, lower the machine into the lower position using hydraulics.
•
The machine must not rest on the working parts. It could damage the working parts of the machine.
•
Secure the machine against access of unauthorised persons.
